It defines small capitalization companies as those companies whose market capitalization, at the time of purchase, are bound by the minimum and maximum market capitalizations of either the Russell 2000® index or the S&P Small Cap 600 index. The fund invests in both "growth" and "value" stocks as it believes that this approach results in more consistent performance over time than investing exclusively in "growth" or "value" stocks. |
