| H&E Equipment Services, Inc. provides heavy construction and industrial equipment in the United States. It rents, sells, and provides parts and service support for four categories of specialized equipment, including hi-lift or aerial platform equipment; cranes; earthmoving equipment; and industrial lift trucks. The company also sells new and used equipment and parts, as well as provides maintenance and repair services for the customers’ owned equipment. In addition, H&E Equipment Services provides ancillary equipment support activities, including transportation, hauling, parts shipping, and loss damage waivers. Its customers include industrial and commercial companies, construction contractors, manufacturers, public utilities, municipalities, maintenance contractors, and other industrial accounts. As of March 3, 2008, H&E Equipment Services served approximately 31,200 customers through 63 full-service facilities across 21 states in the West Coast, Intermountain, Southwest, Gulf Coast, Southeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. The company was founded in 1961. It was formerly known as H&E Equipment Services L.L.C. and changed its name to H&E Equipment Services, Inc. in 2006. H&E Equipment Services is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. |
