It operates as a financing vehicle for various commodities, including grain, energy products, and renewable fuels. In the Grain Merchandising segment, the company, through its 25% interest in FGDI, LLC, acts as a grain dealer, and links merchandisers of grain products through its network of industry contacts, serving as an intermediary to facilitate the purchase and sale of grain. FCStone Group also markets carbon and other emission credits generated by third parties. The company was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. |
