This segment also offers signal path products, including analog and digital switches, video encoders and decoders, video filters, and high performance amplifiers. The Functional Power segment provides power discrete semiconductors, such as Power MOSFETs, insulated gate bipolar transistors, and rectifiers that perform power switching, power conditioning, and signal amplification functions in electronic circuits for computing, communications, industrial, and automotive applications. The Standard Products segment offers logic devices; standard diode and transistor products; optoelectronic products, including optocouplers and infrared devices; and standard linear products, such as bipolar regulators, shunt regulators, low drop out regulators, standard op-amp/comparators, low voltage op-amp, and audio amplifiers. The company sells its products primarily to distributors, original equipment manufacturers, and electronic design and manufacturing services customers. Fairchild Semiconductor International operates primarily in the United States, Europe, China, Taiwan, Korea, and Asia Pacific.
