Fortune Brands CEO pay rises 19 percent in 2009

The president and chief executive officer of Fortune Brands Inc., which makes consumer products ranging from Jim Beam bourbon to Titleist golf equipment, received nearly $9.9 million in compensation in 2009, a nearly 19 percent increase from the previous year.
