On January 26, 2010, UMB Financial Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the financial results for the fiscal quarter and year ending December 31, 2009. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

Item 8.01. Other Events

On January 26, 2010, the Company issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors had declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.185 per share. The dividend is payable on April 1, 2010 to shareholders of record on March 11, 2010. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.2.
