On November 30, 2009, Eastern Insurance Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") announced that its board of directors authorized the payment of a $0.07 per share quarterly cash dividend on its issued and outstanding common stock, payable December 24, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 11, 2009.
