Markman Hearing Opinion for Compact ISA Litigation

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Marshall Division issued a ruling in a "Markman" hearing for OPTi, Inc.'s (the "Company") ongoing patent infringement action relating to the Company's Compact ISA patents.

The Company issued a press release on August 6, 2009 attached as Exhibit 99.1 announcing the court's ruling.
