On July 24, 2009, the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") issued a public notice announcing that TerreStar Networks Inc. ("TerreStar"), a majority-owned subsidiary of TerreStar Corporation, had met the launch and operational milestones associated with the authorization for the TerreStar-1 satellite. The FCC also authorized TerreStar to release the $750,000 bond TerreStar had obtained guaranteeing performance of the milestones.
