Gushan Environmental Energy Limited and its subsidiaries engage in the production and distribution of bio-diesel and related products in the People’s Republic of China. It offers bio-diesel and by-products of bio-diesel production, including glycerine, plant asphalt, erucic acid, and erucic amide. The company produces bio-diesel from various feedstocks, such as vegetable oil, animal fat, and recycled cooking oil for use in a range of diesel engines, including diesel engines found in trucks, mass transit vehicles, marine vessels, and generators. The by-products of its bio-diesel production have various commercial applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries. It sells its products to direct users, including marine vessel operators, petroleum wholesalers, and individual retail gas stations. The company was founded in 2001 and is based in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
