MADISON, N.J. (AP) -- Medical lab operator Quest Diagnostics Inc. said Tuesday it priced its tender offer to buy back a mix of senior notes.

The company will pay $1,037.19 for each $1,000 principal amount of its 5.125 percent senior notes due. It will also pay $1,099.40 for each $1,000 principal amount of its 7.5 percent senior notes due 2011.

The tender offer will expire Nov. 19.

Shares of Quest Diagnostics rose 40 cents to $59.47 in after-hours trading after falling 35 cents to close at $59.07 during the regular trading session.
